The Egyptian Prosecution announced new details about the arrest of the Egyptian anchor, Sarah Khalifa, involved in possession of drugs, and revealed that the investigations resulted in the formation of 7 people a neurotic formation to bring narcotic substances and manufacture them with the intention of trafficking, confirming that 4 of them had been seized, and 3 others were pursued.

She also added that the defendants were seized in the possession of huge amounts of artificial hashish, large sums of money from foreign and local currencies, and some mobile phones, which were used by members of the formation in their criminal activity, as well as a number of cars used to transport and promote narcotic substances.

This came after the investigations mentioned before that the anchor had a primary certificate only, and she did not complete her education, and despite that she worked in the media field and presented several television programs on several satellite channels inside and outside Egypt.

The information revealed that the anchor was participating in the drug trade with others who are currently being limited and determined, in preparation for their arrest, as it was helping to buy drugs from outside Egypt, re -manufacture and create them in the country, and sell them after that.

The broadcaster succeeded in her relationships with the purchase of drug manufacturing machines and equipment from abroad, and to turn her apartment into a laboratory and a manufacturing center in partnership with another woman from a coastal province.

For its part, the Media Syndicate disavowed the broadcaster, and confirmed in an official statement that it is impersonated, not a media. (Arabic)
