Massar group holds the launching ceremony of the “Marine taxi project

In the presence of His Excellency Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism, and His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mamkalakat Company, the Massar Group specialized in the field of logistical and tourism transport held the launching ceremony of the “Marine taxi” project, which is the first unique collective transportation of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it depends on boats to transport passengers between various maritime points in the waters of the Kingdom.
In this regard, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Holding Company, affirmed that the launch of the marine taxi project will contribute to the development of the transportation system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as strengthening its position as an attractive tourist destination at the regional and international levels, stressing that the project is in line with the strategy of the Mumtalakat company aimed at raising the efficiency of its investment portfolio and developing its assets in a way that achieves sustainable returns in the term Al -Taweel, as it reflects the company’s keenness to encourage the opportunities for integration and cooperation between its subsidiaries to serve the goals of economic growth and diversify the sources of national income.
In turn, Mr. Hussein Al -Qusayr, Chairman of the Massar Group, valued the support of the group’s strategy for the group’s strategy and its continuous efforts in enabling the “Masar” company to achieve its goals in growth and expansion, and all the relevant authorities within the “Bahrain Team”, for their active contributions to the success of the launch of this pioneering project. He also added: “We seek to consolidate the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a strategic regional center in the fields of tourism and logistical services during the next stage.”
This, and the marine taxi project aims to provide an innovative and comfortable transportation experience for passengers, by operating air -conditioned boats to 28 passengers, which were manufactured locally in the Al -Dhafan boat factory – one of the subsidiaries of a group of property – and with high -quality international specifications. The project provides distinguished services for passengers, which includes providing drinks and snacks during trips through a designated angle.
The naval taxi network includes six main stations: the eastern coast (Corniche), the port of Saadeh, the Avenues Complex, the Four Seasons Hotel, Harper House, and the Garden City, all equipped with the highest security and safety standards. The Masar Group was also keen to train marine crews on all security and safety measures to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers, in addition to providing a service to reserve the tickets in an easy and flexible way through the electronic “Masar” application, which allows users to choose the destination, time and the number of passengers, with a variety of payment options that include “Banft Bay”, credit cards, and “Apple Bay”.
