445 apod trees hit Istanbul … and expectations for more

The earthquake observatory said today, Saturday, that hundreds of apostate tremors have struck Istanbul and more of them are expected to happen in the coming days.
This comes after the Turkish city was subjected to a strong earthquake, earlier this week.

Istanbul’s earthquakes

The Kandili Observatory said that it had registered 445 tremors so far.

The earthquake, which occurred last Wednesday, was 6.2-0 on the Richter scale, wounded 200 people.

Türkiye’s earthquakes

Turkish Urban Planning Minister Mourad Korum pointed out that damage was recorded by more than 6,500 buildings so far.
On Friday, a tremor was forced to escape from their homes in some Istanbul neighborhoods, the most vulnerable, and some people are still grabbing in open places.
