“Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi” welcomes visitors to the new expansion starting April 4

Miral announced that the newest expansion of the water park, Yas Waterworld, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, will accept visitors starting April 4, 2026.

This is the next stage of the new expansion of “The Lost City,” inspired by the story of “The Legend of the Lost Pearl” of the water city. The expansion witnesses the addition of eight new water slides and two jumping platforms, in addition to a swimming pool designated for relaxation.

The new additions contribute to expanding the range of games offered by the Water Park, which attracts different age groups, bringing the total number of games, experiences and entertainment facilities to more than 70 experiences.

By adding eleven slides and new entertainment experiences, the water park’s options are expanding to offer more innovative activities and experiences that suit all ages. This expansion comes at a time when Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its presence on the global tourism map, while Yas Island continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent international destinations in the field of adventure and entertainment.”

Among the new rides is “Matameer Drops”, the tallest water slide tower in the UAE, which launches with a powerful dash from a height of more than 40 metres, during which guests experience the experience of free fall before sliding down a path extending 233 metres. Water adventure enthusiasts will also find in the new expansion “Matamir Coast,” a unique slide that takes participants through fast dashes and moments that simulate zero gravity.

Fans of extreme experiences can try the “Loop Drops”, a slide that takes participants on a high-speed fall experience through rapid slopes. “Matamir Lights” offers an experience that combines rapid declines and immersive lighting effects. As for those who prefer the spirit of friendly competition, they will enjoy the “Splash Matamir”, which is a double sliding race track in which participants move side by side until the finish line.

In addition to the water slides full of excitement and adventure, the new games add additional distinctive options for recreation and recovery. The “Sarab Pool” provides a large area dedicated to relaxation in an atmosphere suitable for families, while the “Al-Afda” jumping pool invites the most daring guests to jump from the high jumping platform into the refreshing waters.
