Shooting .. new developments in the conflict between India and Pakistan

Media reports issued today, Sunday, revealed that the Indian and Pakistani soldiers exchanged fire for the third consecutive night in the disputed Kashmir area.
According to the Indian “Press Trust of India” and “International Asia Agency”, quoting the army, the Pakistani soldiers fired “unjustified fire.”

It stated that the soldiers used light weapons through the control line, which is the actual borders that divide Kashmir into two parts, one of whom was under an Indian administration and the other under Pakistani administration, yesterday night, Saturday.
Reports indicated that the Indian soldiers also responded with fire using light weapons, and there were no reports of injuries, and there was no confirmation of the accident from the Pakistani side.
These recent incidents come after a period of calm that ended with a deadly attack in the Indian administration part of Kashmir earlier this week.

26 tourists were killed

The accident resulted in the killing of 26 tourists and pushing the two countries to the edge of a new conflict, and New Delhi accuses an armed group claiming to be active from inside Pakistan of being behind the attack.
While Islamabad denies these accusations, and since then, the two countries have closed the only border crossing that was still working, and suspended the trade exchange, and ordered the expulsion of the citizens of each of the other party’s lands in mutual procedures.
Fears will prevail that these recent clashes will lead to a greater escalation. India and Pakistan had fought three wars since their independence in 1947, and they almost fought a fourth war due to the conflict over Kashmir, the valley divided between them.
