Mohammed bin Rashid issues the law to allocate government lands for public agencies in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God bless him”, issued a law to allocate government lands to public authorities in the Emirate of Dubai.
The law guarantees the rationalization of the use of government lands and their allocation according to a clear mechanism and criteria that ensure the optimum benefit from them in a way that matches the targets of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, and the law also achieves planning flexibility in dealing with and governing lands in a manner commensurate with the actual needs, future plans and strategic directions of the emirate.
According to the law, the Dubai Municipality is the authority to receive and study allocation requests and evaluate the actual need of lands in coordination with local and federal government agencies, and the issuance of the location of the governmental lands that are allocated to the public authorities, and the establishment of a special record for them. The law also permitted the municipality to recover the governmental land allocated to the public authority in the event that any reason is available by the registration that the law has separated.
