Emirates Airlines and Dubai register 5 million passengers in 2024

Emirates and Flei Dubai recorded a prominent achievement of the transportation of 5 million passengers through their joint network during the past year, which reflects remarkable growth of 36% in the number of joint travelers compared to the previous year.
According to a press release issued today, this achievement represents a new station within a march that extends for more than seven years of coordination and a joint vision to facilitate travel and enhance Dubai’s connection to the world.
In line with the targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, aimed at establishing the emirate’s position as a global economic center, Emirates and Flei Dubai continues their efforts to make Dubai one of the most connected cities in the world, by adding 400 destinations to the map of foreign trade and tourism.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airlines and Group, Chairman of the Flydubai Board of Directors, said that the partnership of Emirates Airlines and Dubai formed a turning point for both carriers, and is a model to be followed in cooperative excellence that allowed travelers wider options and better travel experiences, backed by a network of global and global destinations linking different parts of the world.
He added: “We celebrate the achievements that have been achieved so far, we are looking forward to new prospects of growth, in a way that enhances Dubai’s position as a pioneering global axis, and contributes to drawing features of the future of air travel at the region and the world level.”
Since the launch of the partnership in 2017, more than 22 million passengers have benefited from the advantages of traveling via the joint network of the two carriers, which brought together the strength of the Emirates Airlines network and the Fly Dubai flights, the provider of an integrated flight schedule, and a unified loyalty program that continues to provide exceptional rewards.
The joint network started with only 29 destinations in 2017, and today it includes more than 240 destinations in more than 100 countries, reinforcing an integrated experience on the ground that include smooth registration procedures, effective luggage, improved flight tables, and direct contact through Dubai International Airport by reaching the Passenger Building 3.
Travelers benefit daily from about 295 flights through the symbol partnership agreement, which provides them with broader options and more flexible dates, and flydubai will run more than 330 trips per week from the Passenger Building 3 to famous destinations such as Zanzibar, Katmandu, Kabi, Riyadh and Naples.
Emirates Airlines can now reach more than 132 destinations served by flydubai, while flydubai travelers can explore more than 142 destinations within the Emirates Network.
The two carriers continue to provide global levels of travel, driven by a growth of 31% in demand for travel in the distinctive compartments, which confirms the strength of offers and services provided by the two carriers.
During the past year, Emirates Airlines launched flights to Bogota in Colombia and Antananarivo in Madagascar, with plans to add new destinations to Da Nang in Vietnam, Sayyam Reeb in Cambodia and Chenezen in China this summer, and Fly Dubai announced the addition of 10 new destinations, including Antalya, Basel and Al -Alam, in preparation for the summer season.
