المملكة: A Saudi team records a global patent in medical surgery

A Saudi medical team from the University Medical City at King Saud University recorded a global patent to create a “spacious tissue tissue”, which is a qualitative addition in the field of medical surgery and dental implant procedures.
The research team includes a consultant reform and transplant, Mohamed Abdullah Al -Shehri, a gum surgery and surgery consultant Abdullah Al -Omari, and a gum surgery consultant Sami Al -Qahtani.

International patent

Dr. Al -Shehri explained that the innovative forcer with its unique design consists of two arms that meet at a point of analogy at their close side, and the ends of the arms are characterized by an angle of 30 degrees from the longitudinal axis that ends with a wide, volatile scoop allowing to catch a greater area of ​​medical tissues with high efficiency, indicating that the innovative crucible can be used in many microscopic surgical operations, It helps to hold, fix and control tissues during surgery, and contribute effectively to controlling bleeding by pressing the newly cut tissues.

He pointed out that the aim of this invention came in response to the increasing need in the surgical field to develop more effective tools in holding tissue, especially in surgeries that require extreme accuracy such as mouth and dental surgeries, stressing that the cost of manufacturing the invention is reasonable, which makes it available to hospitals and clinics around the world, including developing countries, which contributes to spreading advanced medical techniques on a wider scale.

Scientific research

It is noteworthy that the patent was registered in the name of King Saud University for innovation, and it was approved after passing the different evaluation stages by the American Patent and Brand Board, reflecting the advanced level of research and innovation in Saudi academic institutions, and contributes to enhancing the Kingdom’s position in the field of scientific and technical research at the global level.
