Palestine Representative in the Security Council: The people are killed daily and the time to enable power in Gaza
The permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, stressed that the Palestinian people are exposed daily to systematic and brutal killings in the Gaza Strip, warning of the danger of the international community’s habit of this continuous bloody scene. Violence and turning a blind eye to the size of the worsening humanitarian catastrophe. The possibility of achieving a nearby political breakthrough, thanks to the ongoing efforts made by Egypt, Qatar and the United States in order to reach an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressing that these parties play a pivotal role in containing escalation and protecting civilians. And comprehensive, criticizing at the same time the Israeli position rejecting this solution, and stressing that this rejection threatens peace and stability in the entire region.
