"Abu Dhabi Book" It hosts a seminar on dialogue and coexistence in Islamic heritage

Abu Dhabi, May 4 / WAM / The Wing of the Council of Muslim Elders, in the context of its cultural and cognitive activities at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair in its 34th session, organized a seminar entitled “Dialogue and Coexistence in Islamic Heritage … Founded Foundations and Values”, presented by Counselor Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Zahir, the legal advisor in the Judicial Department – Abu Dhabi, and Dr. Mahmoud Najah Imam and preacher of the Imam Al -Tayeb Mosque in the house of the Ibrahimi family in Abu Dhabi, Rahman, founder and director of the Indian Arab Cultural Center, and Dr. Mohand Mashnan, a faculty member at Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities.

At the beginning of the symposium, Dr. Mahmoud Najah emphasized that Islam is the religion of God that it is satisfied with His servants, it is a religion that addresses the minds and acknowledges the difference, and these are the basic principles in Islam, indicating that the “mind” and its related concepts such as understanding and reflection, and mentioned in the Holy Qur’an more than 120 times, indicating that this indicates that Islam is a religion of dialogue and persuasion.

For his part, Dr. Qudr al -Rahman said that the great diversity in India in terms of religions, languages ​​and opinions reflects a divine will for acquaintance and dialogue.

He stressed that India is witnessing a remarkable activity in the field of peaceful coexistence on the basis of security, luxury and justice, praising the participation of the Muslim Wise Council at the New Delhi International Book Fair and the great demand witnessed by the council’s publications from all components of Indian society that thirst for such publications known as the method of Islam in consolidating the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence.

The adviser, Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Zahir, praised the issuance of the United Arab Emirates Acts of Combating Discrimination and Hall, and said that the state criminalized atonement, and considered the description of the other as disbelief a felony punishable by law.

Dr. Mohand Mishnan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Council of Muslim Elders in spreading and consolidating the values ​​of dialogue, coexistence and peace, pointing to the importance of working to spread the culture of tolerance, respect and acceptance of the other, especially in light of the escalation of our world of hate, intolerance and Islamophobia.
