The wave of thick dust covered the sky of the capital, Riyadh, on Sunday, which led to a noticeable decrease in the level of horizontal visibility in roads and streets, and reached the level of almost non -absence on highways.

In light of this atmosphere, the Ministry of Health renewed its invitation to all citizens and residents, stressing the need to adhere to the preventive guidance to avoid the health effects of dust, and advised not to expose it only in cases of extreme necessity, in order to preserve the safety of everyone.

Wearing medical masks

The ministry, coinciding with the weather fluctuations in the region, stressed the importance of wearing the efficiency medical masks in liquidating the air when going out, taking care to change them continuously.

In addition to the need to tighten the doors and windows of the houses to prevent dust from leaking inward.

Special instructions for asthma patients

“Health” directed special guidelines for asthma patients on how to deal with dust and dust waves, and stressed the importance of their commitment to taking the preventive sprays described by the doctor regularly, and the need to carry the expanded ambulatory spray for the airways permanently to use it when needed.

The ministry warned of the importance of immediate orientation to the nearest emergency center if the asthma crisis was severe, and the situation did not improve after the use of the ambulance spray.
