المملكة: “The Holy Capital” .. an integrated road maintenance program in preparation for the Hajj season 1446 AH

This is with the aim of raising the efficiency of infrastructure, improving the quality of life, addressing visual distortion, and achieving a safe traffic for the guests of Rahman.
Maintenance and rehabilitation work
The Secretariat explained that the program included the implementation of the work of scraping, asphalt, maintenance of sidewalks, roads and traffic, with a total area of more than 50 thousand square meters, where the work of the scraping and asphalt re -of the surface layer with an area of more than 30,929 square meters, in addition to the implementation of traffic paints for an area of more than 23,581 square meters.
And preventive maintenance work for asphalt reached an area of 7,500 square meters, in addition to repairing declines and drilling, improving traffic safety elements, maintenance of warning paintings, flexible columns and other artworks.
Axes covered by maintenance work
The maintenance work included a number of vital axes in Makkah Al -Mukarramah and the Holy Places, the most prominent of which are: King Faisal Road, Prince Muhammad bin Salman Road, Ajyad Road, King Abdulaziz Road, the Grand Mosque Road, the third ring road, King Abdulaziz Road in Mina’s hair, Ali bin Abi Talib road in the scope of the Holy Places, the road leading to the massacres, along with separate locations across the holy capital.
The Secretariat affirmed its continued implementation of comprehensive maintenance and development projects that include roads, bridges, tunnels, sidewalks and lighting networks, in a way that contributes to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, and guarantees their transportation easily within the city, in implementation of the guidance of the wise leadership – God has supported it – aimed at harnessing all the capabilities to serve the guests of the Most Gracious and enable them to perform their cakes with ease and ease.
