Reem Al -Abali .. From a refugee to the smallest minister in the new German government

The German Social Democratic Party revealed a list of its ministers in the new German government, which will be led by the conservative “Christian Democratic Party”, led by the prospective adviser Friedrich Mertz.
The choice was made, according to what was announced in Berlin, on Reem Al-Abli-Radovan, and the current rejected immigration and integration affairs, to become Minister of Development in the new German government.
Reem Al-Abli-Radovan is a 35-year-old Iraqi origin, as she is the youngest minister in the new government, according to the German radio and television network “Deutsche Welle”.
And Iraqi expatriates residing abroad circulated the nomination of the original Iraqi lady, quoting the official website of the Bundestag, which was attached to this side of her CV.
Reem El Abbali – Radovan was born on May 1, 1990 in Moscow, graduated from the Free University of Berlin in 2013, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and then joined in 2017 with advanced studies in international relations and business administration at Kaizersloton Technical University.
She joined the SPD (German Democratic Party) in 2021, and was elected on September 26, 2021 members of the Bundestag, for an eastern electoral circle, which is considered one of the poorest and most challenging German regions at the level of cultural diversity.
On December 8, 2021, Reem El -Abbali took the constitutional oath as Minister of State for Immigration, Refugees and Integration into the German federal government with the leadership of Olaf Scholdz.
It is the first German of Iraqi origin to assume this sensitive position, and played a crucial role in drafting the new integration law that was adopted in Parliament on June 15/2023, a law that linked language learning, job opportunities and vocational rehabilitation.
Al -Abli represents Germany in the meetings of the European Union and the United Nations for immigration and the rights of the refugees, especially in the files of the Middle East and Africa, and it speaks four languages ”German (Mother), English English, and Assyrian.
