Abu Dhabi, May 7/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center provided the shelves of his initiative, “Books Treasury”, with a new series of publications of more than 200 titles in seven vital commercial sites distributed over the various emirates of the country, during the period from April 22 to May 7, 2025, and in conjunction with the activities of the 34th session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, one of the most prominent international books for books in the region.
The remarkable expansion of the number of sites hosting the “Books Treasury” activities confirms the success of the initiative in reaching a wide audience of readers and interested, and the growing demand for its cognitive and cultural content, which reflects the center’s keenness to enhance direct communication with the public, and spreading the culture of reading, by providing the modern and varied publications of the audience in carefully selected sites, based on its belief in the importance of the Arabic language is a pillar of the national identity, and in line with directions The leadership of the rational Emirates in preserving the position of “the language of the opposite”, and consolidating its presence in society.
The “Books Treasury” activities were launched for the second quarter of this year, from the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, where “Manar Mall” hosted the initiative between April 22 and May 5, to provide an interactive reading experience for its visitors, and the activities “City Live Al -Tal Mall” in Ajman from April 23 to May 6, 2025, along with “Mega Mall” in Sharjah during the same period, were organized in continuation of the center’s approach to diversification in sites, sites, And attracted readers of different categories.
In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the city of Al Dhafra hosted the “Treasury of Books” event in “Al -Dhaga Mall” from April 24 to May 7, 2025, in parallel with the “Makani Mall – Zakher” event in Al Ain, in addition to the event hosted by “Al Sharq Mall” during the same period, so that the initiative continues to attend in the emirate known for its cultural momentum.
The activities combined presented more than 200 diversified titles from the publications of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, which included books from the “Kalima” project for translation and the series “Insights” for Research and Studies, as well as a set of cognitive and cultural publications in the fields of children’s literature, heritage, social sciences, arts, philosophy, and history.
The “Books Treasury” initiative is witnessing a remarkable turnout from the audience, especially during the weekends, in light of the rich content it provides that meets the aspirations of the readers and enhances the position of the center, a cultural engine that keeps pace with the aspirations of the UAE in supporting the Arabic language, and expanding the circle of culture and knowledge.
