The chemical industries sector in Fujairah is a basic tributary for sustainable development in the emirate
Fujairah on May 7/ WAM/ The Emirate of Fujairah is witnessing a qualitative shift in the industrial field, which is a contributing element in its economic growth, after the opening of several factories, the last of which is the APEX Chemical Industry Factory with a production capacity of 200 thousand tons annually in two phases.
The industrial sector in the emirate is characterized by an appropriate infrastructure to accommodate industrial activities in the emirate, in addition to the facilities and logistical services provided that strengthened the presence of qualitative industries in different factories such as the production of ground calcium carbonate, the production of basalt fibers, rock wool and other industrial facilities.
These facilities also apply the highest quality and sustainability standards in the optimal exploitation of natural resources to preserve the environment.
His Excellency Engineer Mohamed Saif Al -Afkhal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Foundation for Natural Resources, emphasized the pivotal role that the emirate plays in providing the ideal environment for industries activity in the various natural resources and mining sectors in the emirate, which was translated by the visions of good leadership, which supports the developmental and economic march and said that the APEX Factory for the Chemical Industry Factory is a leading model in promoting markets with quality and vital products.
His Excellency Eng. Ali Qassem, Director General of the Fujairah Foundation for Natural Resources, said that the Emirate of Fujairah has abundant natural materials that are optimized, including calcium carbonate that enter into many uses, including building materials, plastic, food and dyes industries, which contributes directly and indirectly to feeding the local and global markets, as part of studies and research for these resources.
Industrial projects contribute to enhancing the emirate’s position, an advanced industrial zone and a tributary in sustainable development, which adopts and applying international practices and an example to follow in the world.
