Destinaculation of development, schools that measure the quality of the bombing, with students ’opinions and parents

A number of schools launched an initiative to measure the quality of school canteens, through a comprehensive questionnaire in which students and parents participate, with the aim of improving the quality of food and providing more diverse healthy options, in a move that reflects the keenness of educational institutions on the health of students and the quality of food services provided to them.
The questionnaire, which was distributed by school administrations in various categories, addresses the assessment of the diversity of the food items provided, their quality, and the extent of their suitability for students in terms of health, in addition to their personal preferences, and their suggestions to develop menus.

A list approved by the ministry
In this step, schools are based on a list approved by the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2024-2025, including a variety of healthy baked goods, nutritional sandwiches, fresh salads, dairy products and natural juices.
The list includes more than 70 varied items, including thyme and cheese pies, fajita and shawarma sandwiches, and powers such as the caser and the fattat, as well as light options such as cheese popcorn, banana bread and vegetable muffin.
According to the Ministry’s instructions, schools are required to provide four daily varieties of baked goods, three sandwiches, two types of vegetables and fruits, in addition to juices and dairy from two different companies. It also stresses adherence to healthy ingredients and food is free of harmful additions.
The initiative was widely welcomed by parents, who considered it a qualitative shift in the involvement of the school community in the food decision -making, which enhances families’ confidence in the educational environment and the health of their children.
It is noteworthy that the results of the questionnaires will be analyzed by school administrations in cooperation with nutritionists, to update the food lists in accordance with the proposals received, in a manner that ensures meeting students’ tastes and requirements for proper growth, within a healthy and safe educational environment.
