المملكة: Expanding the resources of the Higher Education Fund by adding “a quarter of endowments” to its funding sources

The decision stipulated amending the organization of the Higher Education Fund, where Paragraph “1” of Article Four was amended to read as follows: “Accepting gifts, donations, bequests, and a quarter of endowments, in accordance with the rules regulating that,” allowing the Fund to benefit from this endowment resource within a clear regulatory framework.

The amendment included amending Paragraph “1” of Article Nine of the regulation, so that the Fund’s resources include “gifts, donations, and bequests.” And a quarter of the endowments that the Board of Directors decides to accept,” which gives the Fund’s Board of Directors the authority to regulate the acceptance of these resources in order to achieve its strategic objectives.
