The UAE team participates in " World Cup" Miniature football in Azerbaijan
Dubai, May 9/ WAM/ The Emirates Sports Federation for All announced the participation of the UAE miniature soccer team “Mini Football” in the World Cup in the Azerbaijan scheduled from May 21 to June 1, under the supervision of the International Federation.
The list of the team in the championship includes 17 players, in addition to the technical and administrative bodies, and the mission leaves to Azerbaijan on May 15, after gradual stages of preparation in Dubai, with two friendly matches against his Uzbek counterpart, to raise the level of the players’ readiness before participating in the tournament.
Saeed Al -Aji, Vice President of the Emirates Sports Federation for All, Chairman of the Miniature Football Committee, stressed that participation in the World Cup in the Azerbaijan is an important opportunity to confirm the development of our national team, its readiness for global championships, through great preparations in internal camps, and participation in the Asian Championship last month in Dubai and its victory in third place.
He explained that our national team has a distinctive identity, and has a great experience that he gained by participating in many international, continental, and Gulf championships.
