Dubai Digital Economy Chamber supports the establishment and expansion of 127 emerging digital companies during the first quarter

Dubai, May 12 / WAM / Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, revealed today its support and contribution to establishing and expanding the work of 127 digital companies emerging in the emirate during the first quarter of the year 2025, with a growth rate of 135% compared to the same period last year.
During the first quarter of this year, the Chamber held 4 activities to support the business community, enable startups, support talent, enhance partnerships, and improve the business system, and during the first quarter trained 729 participants in digital skills development programs, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of human cadres specialized in advanced technology sectors to keep pace with the requirements of the digital future.
The Chamber continued its efforts to enhance the support of companies that seek to launch or expand the scope of their activities in the emirate through the platform “Supporting and attracting companies” that provide a package of institutional and operational services, in addition to the business reconciliation service to help companies find partners, investors and customers suitable for their requirements, where the platform partners’ base has been expanded from service providers through cooperation with 20 new partners during the first quarter of this year, to increase the total partners The platform to 114 partners specialized in a variety of service fields.
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al -Ulama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Labor Applications, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said: The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy in its pivotal role in enhancing Dubai’s position as a global center for digital economy, in implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God bless him”, to establish Dubai’s central status in the future economy, where we continue to develop An integrated digital environment depends on advanced infrastructure and legislative, which contributes to stimulating the growth of emerging and major digital companies alike, and enabling them to expand towards the world from Dubai, in conjunction with support for the adoption of innovation and digital entrepreneurship.
He added that the Chamber is keen to accelerate the pace of digital transformation and enhance the attractiveness of Dubai as a major destination for technical investments and a major incubator for technology and creativity and creating qualitative solutions that contribute to supporting economic and social development.
During the first quarter, the Chamber organized 12 rounds in the global markets to review the ingredients of the advanced digital business environment in Dubai, and to introduce the importance of the “Expand North Star” exhibition as the largest global event for startups and investors, compared to three during the same period last year.
These promotional tours are aimed at highlighting the “Expand North Star” exhibition organized by the Dubai World Trade Center, and will be hosted by the Chamber in Dubai Harper during the period from 12 to 15 October.
The activities of the first campaign for the “Expand North Star” exhibition started for the year 2025 from the United States of America, and included Las Vegas, Phenix and San Francisco, and its activities attracted more than 200 representatives of a variety of startups, investors and technology companies, and Canada formed the second leg of the campaign, where the Chamber held a series of activities in 3 Canadian cities that included both Toronto Mesesaga and Vancouver, and the meeting took place with more than 350 entrepreneurs and founders of startups in addition to investors and representatives of business accelerators and digital policy makers, with the aim of introducing Dubai ingredients as a global pioneering center for the growth and expansion of digital companies, in addition to reviewing the importance and features of participation in Xpandle North Star.
In March, the Chamber also organized a promotional campaign for the exhibition in Australia in Sydney and Melbourne, and the campaign activities were attracted 400 partners of the digital business system from emerging companies, investors and technological companies.
