Jamal Al -Suwaidi participates in the Arab Media Forum in Kuwait

Kuwait, May 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al -Suwaidi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research and Chairman of the Arab Thought and Culture Forum participated in the activities of the 20th session of the Arab Media Forum held in the State of Kuwait.
His Excellency discussed in a welcome speech the importance of strengthening Arab cooperation to confront technology challenges, and thanked the State of Kuwait and those in charge of the Arab Media Forum and for the choice of the UAE, guest of honor of the forum.
His Excellency said: “The Arab and global media has undoubtedly become a different historical moment represented in the great digital transformation and the entry of artificial intelligence techniques in all aspects of media, cultural and social life. This moment cannot be dealt with as merely a transient technical development, but must be read in a broader civilized context that includes the reshaping of human awareness and methods of communication, which leads us all to more seriousness and critical thinking in The future of the media, its mechanisms and its outputs.
He pointed out that modern technology, including artificial intelligence, is no longer just auxiliary tools, but rather has become the main pillar that reshapes the media scene and determines the milestones of the future, stressing that artificial intelligence today provides unprecedented opportunities to develop media content, analyze and distribute it more accurately and effectively, which contributes to reaching wider segments of the public in more interactive and attractive methods.
He pointed out that these tremendous technical capabilities offer serious challenges related to ensuring integrity, transparency and media justice, and imposes the necessity of setting clear and strict criteria that regulate the benefit of these tools and reduce the risks of misuse or misinformation.
Al -Suwaidi explained that digital transformations imposed on specialists major responsibilities, especially with regard to media ethics ..
