Dubai, May 13 / WAM / The Dubai International Financial Center launched the leading global financial center in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, officially today (Tuesday) the “million educated” initiative aimed at helping a million people to learn and get to know sustainability and sustainable financing by 2030, as part of the initiative of sustainable financing in the Dubai World Financial Center, where the announcement of the initiative came during the Dubai Financial Technology Summit, which is that It is hosted by the Dubai International Financial Center in Jumeirah in Dubai.
The leading “Million Time” initiative confirms the commitment of the Dubai World Financial Center to draw the features of a future in which financial growth is integrated with environmental and social responsibility. At a time when individuals, sectors and economies are consistent with the principles of sustainability, it is necessary to provide individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand sustainable financing to build comprehensive, flexible and ready societies to keep pace with the future.

The initiative supports a distinguished alliance that includes 28 founding partners, representing a wide segment of the leading institutions committed to enhancing knowledge in the field of sustainability, and these institutions include: the American Institute for Accredited Legal Accountants (AICPA), the Institute of Accredited Administrative Accountants (CIMA), Climate Policy Center (C3), Candryam Academy, and the Cambridge Institute for Leadership in the field of Sustainability, the Cleaning Energy Industries Council, the Institute, the Disign Thinkers Group, the World Organization for Green Economy, the Dubai Entrepreneur Training Program, the Edinburgh College of Business – Heriot University, Emirates NBD, Expo Dubai, Just Empak (GIST Impact), the Global Alliance for Capacity Building, the Global Climate Finance Center, the Global Ethical Finance Initiative, the “Global Sheplins Dubai” center, the International Finance Corporation, the Institute of Administrative Accountants, the London Stock Exchange Group, the MasterCard, the Oxford and Cambridge Graduates Association in the United Arab Emirates, the responsible principles Global, Stashaway), Terra, United Nations Development Program, and Vasa.

The globally leading Gest Empact has a long -standing experience of up to 17 years in identifying environmental, social and economic results.
The company adopts scientific methodologies based on leading international frameworks and standards, such as the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGS), directives of institutional sustainability reports (CSRD), and the work team on disclosure of financial information associated with nature (TNFD).
Through this strategic partnership, the Dubai International Financial Center will develop a comprehensive framework for assessing impact and submitting reports, which enables it to accurately measure the results of the initiative, and communicate transparently about the progress made with the various parties concerned.
The “Gest Empact” has distinguished capabilities in translating social results – such as improving access to education, enhancing equality, and providing livelihoods – to measurable accurate visions.
