The Chinese National Meteorological Center reported that heavy rains lasted for two days on the Jiangshi, Chigiang, Fujian, Guangzhi, Guangdong and Xinjiang region in the northwest of the country, according to the New China News Agency (Xinhua).

The railway authorities in the southern China city of China said that ten railway lines linking cities stopped today.
