The stock indicators on the American “Wall Street” exchange closed at a slight altitude on Monday.
This came with the decline in investor morale as a result of a reduction.

The Dow Jones Industrial Index (137.33) points or (0.32) percent increased to (42792.07) points.
And the (500) increased by (5.22) points or (0.09) percent to (5963.60) points.
The Nasdaq Al -Mujamah index (4.36) points or (0.02) percent to (19215.46) points.

A few days ago, the United States and China announced an agreement to reduce customs duties on both of them, for a preliminary period of 90 days.

Calm commercial tensions between America and China

This is in a move that calmed down the trade tensions between the two largest economies in the world, and led to the spread of cautious optimism among the American stock investors, according to the “Investobide” platform.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent stated that the two sides had a “agreement to suspend customs duties for a period of 90 days and significantly reduce them.”
And that the American customs duties on Chinese imports will reduce 145% to 30%, while China will reduce its fees on American goods from 125% to 10%.

A strong recovery in the global markets

The truce of the tensions led to a strong recovery in the global markets, as the futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Index increased by 2.2%, and the Standard & Poor’s 500 index by 2.8%, while the futures for the Nasdaq index jumped by about 3.8%.

The Stoxus Europe 600 index also rose by 1%, and the Hang Singh Index in Hong Kong closed at an altitude of 3%, while the US dollar rose against the euro, the yen and the pound sterling.
While the gold prices fell at the time, the return on US Treasury bonds for ten years to about 4.45%, and most of the major encrypted currencies witnessed strong gains.
Nevertheless, experts have warned that the agreement may be a short -term negotiating tactic and not always a solution.
