Within a week .. 71% increase in monkey chickenpox injuries

The African Centers for Control and Prevention of Diseases revealed a sharp rise in the number of confirmed injuries to the monkeys in Sierra Leone.
The increase rate was 71% in just one week, which raises the acceleration of the pace of the virus outbreak in the country.

The head of the incident support management team explained in the monkey chickenpox in the African centers, Dr. Najashi Nagongo, during a press conference on Monday, that the major outbreaks of Africa such as Burundi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo began to witness a decline in cases, but Sierra Leone represents a worrying exception.
He pointed out that Sierra Leone recorded more than 200 new confirmed cases in April only, and with the beginning of May it represented half of the total confirmed injuries in Africa.
