The head of the incident support management team explained in the monkey chickenpox in the African centers, Dr. Najashi Nagongo, during a press conference on Monday, that the major outbreaks of Africa such as Burundi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo began to witness a decline in cases, but Sierra Leone represents a worrying exception.
He pointed out that Sierra Leone recorded more than 200 new confirmed cases in April only, and with the beginning of May it represented half of the total confirmed injuries in Africa.
