The evidence emphasized that the housing in the specialized paths requires the student to pass the approved percentage of the subjects in the first common year, which is to pass at least 50% of the number of subjects, in addition to success in all subjects that have an extension in the specialized path that the student wants to join.
Also, the student in these subjects must achieve a degree of no less than 50, as a minimum success.

One of the most prominent requirements stipulated in the evidence is that the student has a clear desire to choose the specialized path, with the approval of the guardian, as the desire and approval is one of the most important conditions for housing, and the student is asked to arrange his desires within a period of time determined by the ministry in advance.
The school plays a major role in this aspect, through the early announcement of the period of selection for all students and their parents, in addition to organizing preparation programs directed to students of the first year, which includes awareness meetings with the academic mentor, providing way for consultation on the choice of the most appropriate path.

The options offered

The housing team in the General Administration of Education oversees the follow -up of the preparation stages, and to ensure that the data and options offered are completed, as well as providing support to schools to ensure the housing in the paths in a way that guarantees justice and parity.

According to the evidence, the preference in the housing is granted to students who have achieved the “higher balanced ratio” in the comparison after the conditions of the housing and its standards are fulfilled. Students are arranged according to the priority of admission to each specialized path, and the available seats are allocated according to the results of the comparison.
