Khalid bin Zayed visits the fourth session of "Make in the Emirates"

Abu Dhabi, May 21/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Higher Foundation for People of Determination, stressed the strategic importance of the “Made in the Emirates 2025”, which is a qualitative platform to support and develop 12 leading industrial sectors in the country.
During his visit, His Highness explained the activities of “Made in the Emirates 2025” that this leading industrial platform contributes to enhancing the UAE’s position as a global destination to attract investments and capital, which supports promising Emirati industries and raises their competitiveness locally and globally.
His Highness stressed the importance of supporting the rational leadership of national industries, which has become a basic pillar in the rapid economic growth march of the Emirates.
His Highness said: “Investing in the development of local industries is a major tributary to enhance the position of the national economy on the global map, which is flourishing today thanks to the efforts of the loyal homeland, supported by an insightful vision that puts people at the forefront of priorities. The initiative represents an opportunity to enhance partnerships between the government and private sectors, and to motivate innovation to build a sustainable industrial system that contributes to diversifying the sources of the national economy.
His Highness stressed the role of “Made in the Emirates 2025” in attracting young Emirati cadres and enabling them to benefit from employment opportunities in modern industrial sectors, through leading work platforms that provide an environment that stimulates creativity and excellence.
His Highness added: “We seek to employ the energies of Emirati youth and provide them with the skills necessary to lead the future industry sectors, in line with the state’s vision to build a sustainable knowledge economy based on national competencies.”
His Highness praised the great role of the ADNEC Group in the Organization “Made in the Emirates 2025”, stressing that this tight organization reflects the enormous organizational and technical capabilities that the group enjoys, which made it an essential pillar in the success of major global events on the land of the state.

His Highness said: «The excellence and professionalism that ADNEC enjoys in organizing these huge industrial events congratulate the UAE’s position as a pioneering center for industry and innovation, and contribute to enhancing the confidence of global investors in our integrated industrial system.”
