Sultan Al Mansouri: Promising horizons between Dubai and Germany in various sectors
Hamburg, May 21 / WAM / His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, stressed that the relations between Dubai and Germany have promising prospects in various sectors, pointing out that the “Dubai Business Forum – Germany”, which concluded its work yesterday in the German city of Hamburg, aims to deepen the bonds of cooperation and explore new paths for trade, investment and innovation between Dubai, and enable the German business community to seize various opportunities In Dubai.
He said in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the forum, which is the first for the Dubai Chamber during the current year 2025, that the German city of Hamburg was chosen to hold this event due to the distinguished relationship between the cities of Dubai and Hamburg, which extends for more than 20 years, and for the similarity between the two cities as they are two influential commercial centers, in Europe for Hamburg, and at the level of the East and the world in general for Dubai, it is permissible Germany is the 15th economic partner of Dubai in the world.
His Excellency explained that the forum in which 240 of the most prominent German businessmen and investors participated, and 44 participants from government agencies and private companies from the Emirate of Dubai, focused on several topics related to economic partnership and trade exchange between Germany and Dubai, and the alignment between the Dubai Economic Agency “D33” and attracting investment in certain and specific sectors that are in line with the goals of the agenda, including the economy of knowledge, renewable energy, modern transportation and the possibility Attracting some new technologies that can be applied in new Dubai projects, such as the new Dubai Airport, “Dubai South”.
His Excellency Al -Mansouri added that the forum discussed cooperation in the environmental and tourism field, as it submitted from a group of companies in Hamburg and Germany a request to start establishing this cooperation, pointing to the distinguished relations between the two cities in the tourism side.
