Muhammad al -Sharqi witnesses a poetry evening for Al -Azhar students at the College of Arabic Language in Cairo

Cairo, May 22/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed the poetic evening of the Arab poetry circuit in Fujairah and the College of Arabic Language at Al -Azhar University in Cairo at the college headquarters.

In his welcoming speech, Dr. Alaa, the Dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language at Al -Azhar University, said that this evening represents an important step in activating the partnership between the Arab and college poetry circuit, and to attract poetic talents from non -speaking Arabic students and those interested in Arabic poetry.

For her part, Salima Al Mazrouei, Director of the District, stressed, in her speech during the evening, that the circuit was keen to expand the scope of constructive partnerships with Arab educational and cultural institutions to achieve their goals in attracting Arab and non -Arab poets and celebrating their talents.

She added that this evening represents the first fruits of signing the cooperation agreement between the Arab Poetry Circle and the College of Arabic Language in Al -Azhar, and will constitute a new beginning for more prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides in the future.

The evening included a presentation of a visual film on the achievements of the College of Arabic Language at Al -Azhar University during the past year, and an introductory film on the activities and goals of the Arab Poetry Department in Fujairah, and the university students gave their poems on various topics.

The evening was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Excellency Hamdan Karam, Director of the Special Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Dr. Hassan Yahya, Assistant Secretary -General of the Islamic Research Academy, Dr. Abdel -Mawali Ahmed Al -Damyati, Cultural and Educational Adviser to the Embassy of Indonesia, and a large group of university students from various colleges.
