6.3 Richter earthquake hit Crete in Greece

An earthquake of (6.3) on the Richter scale, south of Greece, on Thursday.
The European Mediterranean Seismology Center stated that the earthquake center was (79) kilometers northeast of Herachlion, the largest city of Crete, and at an average depth of the surface of the earth, which made it clearly perceived by the local population.
There was no immediate information about human losses or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
