Our national Jujitsu team passes the official weight procedures in preparation for the Asian Championship in Jordan
Amman, May 23/ WAM/ The players of the national team of Jujitsu, under the auspices of the “Mubadala Investment” company, successfully passed the official weight procedures in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in preparation for the launch of the ninth edition of the Asian Championship, during the period from May 23 to May 26.
The national team in this continental entitlement represents 37 players and players within the adults and under 21 years, where they underwent an intensive preparation program that included internal and external training camps to enhance readiness and raise the level of fitness and technical skills.
The team will open its career in the championship tomorrow with the adult category competitions for men, followed by the women’s competitions on Sunday, with the participation to be concluded on Monday with a category under -21.
His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, said: “Participation in the Asia Jujitsu Championship represents an important station in the team’s march, and through which we look forward to strengthening the state’s leadership in this sport at the continental and international levels, and passing weight procedures is one of the important indicators of the readiness of our sons and daughters to compete, and the team’s mission includes a group of talented players who have undergone intensive preparations and showed levels Ahead of readiness and commitment, which makes us confident of their ability to compete and achieve results worthy of the name of the homeland. “
Coach Hilder Mediros confirmed that the players have reached the highest levels of readiness, and said: “We have gone a strong preparation stage during the past weeks, and the results that we touched from the training camp were very encouraging, and the players showed a great discipline that reflects their keenness to provide their best in this continental challenge, and we are currently working to study competitors and analyze their technical methods, and develop the tactical plans suitable for each We are still.
