Arab Media Summit … Press Morgan: "The world needs an ambitious vision similar to the vision of Mohammed bin Rashid

Dubai, May 28 / WAM / The famous British journalist, Pierce Morgan, confirmed his appreciation for the unique development model of the Emirate of Dubai, which came as a result of the ambitious and honorable vision of the future of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him.”
This came in the context of a session held within the closing day of the Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Head of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, a group of Emirati and Arab media leaders, content and influencers from the UAE, the region and the world.
The British journalist, known for his own style in managing dialogue with dignitaries around the world, said that the scope of development, transformation and dynamism in Dubai has a prepared impact, praising the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in this regard, citing the design of His Highness that the “Burj Khalifa” is the highest construction in the world, in symbolism of His Highness’s keenness to always be Dubai as a model of determination to achieve, whatever the task is difficult, and said Morgan: “This is the level of ambition that the rest of the world needs to be the biggest, better and higher in everything we do.”
During the dialogue, which was run by Mina Al -Uraibi, the editor -in -chief of “The National”, Pierce Morgan touched on many topics such as the situation in Gaza.
In response to Al -Uraibi’s observation about his increasing spread in the Middle East, Morgan was martyred with his discussion, which spread widely with the artist and journalist Bassem Youssef, who won more than 22 million views.
He said: “This moment showed us that the world was watching,” recalling how the two later met in Los Angeles, where they were collected by a lengthy discussion that helped him understand the complex history of the region.

Morgan affirmed the difficulty of covering the conflicts that do not have the facts, and said that Israel’s refusal to allow international journalists to enter for safety reasons is unacceptable, warning of the increasing wave of misinformation.
He added: “The freedom of expression must be protected, but they should not be confused with the false news … The facts are sacred, agreed on the facts and then discuss your opinions.”
Morgan admitted that he is still enjoying reading newspapers, but he was honest about her future and said: “Those under the age of 35 do not accept traditional media, get their news from Tiktok and X platforms and this is the truth.”
The British journalist stressed the importance of credibility in the era of artificial intelligence, when social media provides news, and said: “Let everyone be journalists, but for trained professionals, individual credibility is important.”
