The Minister of Health launches projects and sees the readiness of King Abdullah Medical City for the Hajj season

The Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al -Jalajel, accompanied by a high delegation from the Ministry of Ministry and Health Holding officials, visited King Abdullah Medical City, a member of the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Gathering, to see its readiness during the Hajj season this year and the inauguration of a number of specific projects and stand in the field on the progress of work in its most important specialized departments. Tash, where the tour started by visiting the virtual clinics associated with the Virtual Health Hospital, which is one of the leading digital initiatives that contribute to facilitating access to specialized medical service and accelerating treatment decisions. Excellency also briefed on the accreditation obtained by King Abdullah Medical City from the National Institute for Health Research for the Procraivardic Protection Program in Research, which is the first in the Kingdom.

The minister then moved to the Discharge Lounge area, which is an area dedicated to receiving patients whose exit was registered, allowing them to have temporary comfort until the means of transportation or discharge of the family, which contributes to raising the efficiency of operation and achieving the beneficiary’s satisfaction.

He was also seen on the advanced radiology device, one of the most important devices in early and accurate diagnosis, and is used in the areas of tumor treatment, heart disease and neurological science, and is the first of its kind in the western region within the sectors of the Ministry of Health.

In the emergency department, the minister stood on the development projects in the uses of ISELFIE, especially in reading vital signs and heart planning, which enhances the speed of diagnosis and the accuracy of medical intervention in critical cases, as well as the readiness of ready in dealing with thermal stress cases.

Then the delegation went to the hypnosis suite for blood diseases and cultivation, a modern project that includes sterile rooms with high environmental specifications, monitored around the clock, which enhances patients’ safety and the effectiveness of treatment.

The tour also included the inauguration of the surgical robot project in the specializations (chest surgery – urinary tract surgery and uterine tumors – bowel and rectal tumors), which is a qualitative addition that contributes to performing accurate operations with higher efficiency, reduce complications, accelerate recovery and by Saudi surgeons.

The visit was concluded by seeing the basic laboratory for clinical research and pharmaceutical experiments, which is characterized by the presence of an integrated automatic device that performs the analyzes without the need for several technicians, which enhances the quality of work and accelerates the results.

This visit comes within the interest of the Ministry of Health in raising the efficiency of the health care system in Makkah Al -Mukarramah, and ensuring the maximum readiness to serve the guests of Rahman during the Hajj season, through qualitative projects and health innovations that contribute to achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
