The UAE is the second largest market in the Global Hotel Alliance’s revenues during 2025

The Global Hotel Alliance said that the UAE ranked second as the largest destination in terms of revenues recorded by international visitors who are members of the GHA Discovery Programme, affiliated with the Alliance, during the year 2025.
The alliance stated in a statement about its performance for the year 2025 that the UAE market ranked at the top of the most prominent markets in the world in terms of revenues, thanks to the demand of visitors from members of the alliance from the United Kingdom, who recorded revenues amounting to 24.2 million US dollars (about 88.8 million dirhams), and Russia with about 15.2 million dollars (55.8 million dirhams), followed by Germany with about 9.5 million dollars (about 34.9 million dirhams).
He pointed out that Thailand ranked first as the largest destination in terms of revenues recorded by international member visitors, followed by the UAE in second place, Singapore in third place, and Spain in fourth place, pointing out that the UAE continued to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent global hospitality markets.
The Global Hotel Alliance confirmed that the UAE has occupied an advanced position among the countries that receive the most revenues from international stays within its global network, as international stays constituted 77% of the total revenues generated in the country’s hotels during the year 2025, which reflects its continued attractiveness to travelers from major global markets.
He stated that international travel is still the dominant choice among the 34 million members of the Alliance, noting that the UAE ranked fourth globally in the index of the size of international stays of members.
The World Hotel Alliance is the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, with 50 brands and 950 hotels in 100 countries.
According to data from the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, hotel revenues increased to reach about 44.4 billion dirhams during the period from January to November 2025, recording a growth of 8.8%, compared to the same period in 2024, driven by an increase in the average daily price. The number of hotel guests also increased to about 29.1 million guests, achieving a growth of 5.2%, while hotel overnight stays increased to more than 99.4 million nights with a growth rate. 6% compared to the same period in 2024.
