Cosmin will not play a friendly match before the Uzbekistan meeting

“Emirates Today” learned that the national football team will not play any friendly match before its upcoming confrontation against its counterpart, Uzbekistan, scheduled for the fifth of next month, at eight in the evening at Al Nahyan Stadium in Al -Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi, within the ninth round of the last round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Under the leadership of the Roman coach, Olario Cosmin, the technical staff will be satisfied with daily training until the date of the match, and the daily training will be for two hours, from seven thirty in the evening until nine thirty in the evening, according to the plan of the technical staff in preserving the physical aspects of the players, and at the same time focusing on the tactical matters of the match, especially since the players finally came out of the end of a long football season.

The team had launched, the day before yesterday, its daily training at the Zabeel Stadium in Al -Wasl Club in Dubai, under the leadership of Cosmin, amid great optimism and a positive atmosphere between the players and the technical, administrative and medical staff based on everyone’s sensitivity to the importance of the next stage in the team’s march, especially its remaining matches against both Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The players have organized the exercises seriously, discipline and high moral spirit, in the interest of everyone on the great responsibility of each of them.

The current camp of the national team in Dubai will continue for a period of four days, and the move, as of the first of next June, to start a closed camp in Al -Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi, to continue its daily training there until the date of the match, while its final training will lead on the fourth of June, that is, one day before the match, at Al Nahyan Stadium in Al -Wahda Club.

Kozmin had met, before the current camp in Dubai, with the players and the administrative and medical apparatus of the national team, as everyone focused on the importance of working in the spirit of one team, leading to a new historical achievement for the UAE ball, by reaching the World Cup for the second time in the history of the Emirati white.

The current assembly of the team is the first appearance of coach Kozmin with the team, after he officially started his mission during the first training, the day before yesterday.

It seemed clear that the technical staff in cooperation with the administrative apparatus and officials of the Football Association developed a road map and an integrated plan to perfectly equip the team despite the short preparation period before the upcoming matches, and that the coach Cosmin also focused during his choice of the new list on the most physical and technical players due to the limited time.

On the other hand, the national team player, Junior Nidai, has arrived yesterday, and is expected to be organized in daily training with the rest of his teammates.

According to the program, the team will leave for Kyrgyzstan on the eighth of next month, to meet its team on the tenth of the same month in the last round of these qualifiers.
