Abu Dhabi Investment Office and "Metal Park" They collaborate to create "Excellence Center for Advanced Industries"

Abu Dhabi, May 29 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Investment Office, in partnership with Metal Park, announced the establishment of the Excellence Center for Advanced Industries in Abu Dhabi, which aims to accelerate digital transformation in the metal manufacturing sector, and support the emirate’s ambition to enhance its global leadership in the field of industrial innovation.
The announcement of the center comes to reflect the joint commitment of the two parties to enable manufacturers to employ advanced technologies in their industries, and to enhance companies’ ability to achieve prosperity in a digital industrial system based on data.

The center extends over an area of ​​more than five million square feet, and is located within the industrial zone designated for the metal sector in (Kizad), 8 kilometers from Khalifa Port.

The center is designed to meet the needs of the value chain in the metal manufacturing sector by providing specialized infrastructure and digital systems that enable manufacturers to prepare primary models quickly, carry out experimental tests, and expand the scope of advanced technology applications.
As a gateway to the active industrial system in Abu Dhabi, it will provide the “Excellence Center for Advanced Industries” a platform for the development, testing and expansion of advanced technologies, including robots, industrial internet internet, pre -emptive maintenance, digital simulation, artificial intelligence, self -operating logistical services in addition to building competencies, providing the workforce with the necessary skills to work in Advanced industries.
This initiative comes in line with Abu Dhabi’s industrial strategy, and the center is expected to contribute an effective role in achieving the emirate’s targets by doubling the contribution of the industrial sector to GDP to 172 billion dirhams by 2031.
In this regard, Muhammad Al -Kamali, CEO of Industry and Trade at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said that the industrial sector in Abu Dhabi is witnessing a new stage based on innovation, sustainability and advanced technology and our partnership with “Metal Park” comes as an embodiment of the office’s role in enabling the private sector to expand its business and enhance its competitiveness on the global scene from Abu Dhabi, and the “Excellence Center for Advanced Industries” would form A strategic tool that supports companies seeking innovation and growth, in line with the ambitious economic vision of the emirate.
For his part, Saleh Shahristani, Chairman of the Metal Park Company, said that the Excellence Center for Advanced Industries will serve as a corner stone in technical progress in the mineral industry at the regional level, and in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, we will work to create a favorable environment for industrial companies of all sizes to develop advanced solutions and verify and implement them, in a way that enhances the position of Abu Dhabi, a leading global center for manufacturing Advanced.
The “Excellence Center for Advanced Industries” is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year and would support Abu Dhabi’s transformation into an integrated global economy based on export, allowing investors to conclude strategic partnerships and benefit from the global infrastructure, and the advanced work system in the emirate.
