We will fight until Iran is no longer able to fight

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that the United States will continue its military operations against Iran “until it is unable to fight, and then they will have no choice but to surrender,” stressing that the war is still in its early stages.

Hegseth explained in an interview with CBS that more than 50,000 American military personnel are currently participating in the “Epic Fury” operation, adding that American forces have so far carried out about 3,000 strikes inside Iran.

“We will keep fighting until they are no longer able to fight and then they will have no choice but to surrender,” he said.

He added that American military capabilities, along with the Israeli Air Force, represent “the two most powerful air forces in the world,” noting that the military campaign may expand by using heavy conventional bombs to target Iranian military sites.

In response to a question about the possibility of deploying American forces inside Iran, Hegseth said that Washington would not rule out any military option, adding: “We will not tell the enemy the limits of our operations. We will do what is necessary to achieve victory.”

Regarding reports that Russia is providing intelligence information to Iran about the movements of American forces, Hegseth said that the American army is closely monitoring these developments, stressing that Washington has “the best intelligence system in the world.”

The Secretary of Defense also acknowledged that the war may witness more human losses among the ranks of the US Army, saying that such conflicts “do not occur without casualties.”

He added: “This will not weaken our resolve, but will increase our determination to end this battle.”
