Wittouf proposal for a ceasefire does not meet the movement’s demands

Hamas announced that the American proposal approved by Israel on a truce in Gaza does not respond to its demands.
This came, according to a Hamas official, he spoke to Agence France Presse on Thursday evening.
The White House had announced Thursday that Israel had approved the US ceasefire plan in the Gaza Strip, at a time when the talks continue with Hamas.
“I can confirm that the special envoy (Steve), Vikov and President (Donald Trump) sent to Hamas a suggestion for a ceasefire that Israel agreed and supported him. Israel signed this proposal before sending him to Hamas,” noting that “the discussions are continuing.”
According to the proposed agreement, which was presented to Israel last night, the first stage begins with the announcement of a 60 -day ceasefire, during which 9 neighborhood prisoners and 18 bodies were released in two phases, within one week.
Israel will also withdraw on the first day of the lands it occupied recently north of the Natsarim axis, and on the seventh day, it will withdraw from the lands occupied by the southern axis of Natsarim, according to the Israeli channel 12. At the end of the negotiations, Israel will be able to return to fighting if there are no agreements. Humanitarian aid will also be distributed with the participation of the United Nations.
