Russian Grapevin is close to settling the Dubai Chess Championship title

Dubai, June 4/WAM/The great Russian international professor Alexei Grapevin is close to crowning the title of the 25th edition of the Dubai Open Chess Championship, within the category (A), after drawing in the eighth round with his closest competitors, the great Iranian international professor Mofard Sina.
Grapefne raised his score to 6.5 points out of 8 rounds, and a tie is sufficient in the last round to ensure the title, while Sina still adheres to his chances in the competition despite his delay by half a point, after raising his score to 6 points.
Also in the second place is the great Armenian international professor Sargsien Shant, who outperformed in the eighth round over the Russian Zimlinsky and the Spanish Bishot Alan, who beat Indian Rohith Krishna.
In the second category competition (B), Indian Fendan Al Nakar raised the top of the ranking after his victory over Sri Lanko Bisndo Rashmetha, raising his score to 7 points from 8 rounds, sharing the lead with Iranian International Federation Professor Mahdi Nikokar, who tied with Indian Meridaf.
The eighth round in the same category witnessed the first seed, the international federation professor Manokian Sarge, tied with the Chinese player Zhang Zhi, each of them raising their score to 6 points.
