The UAE and the Dominicans are launching a partnership to exchange experiences in government modernization

Dubai, June 15 / WAM / The governments of the UAE and the Dominican Republic launched a partnership to exchange experiences in the fields of government development and modernization, and to build future capabilities and skills, within the initiatives of the UAE government cognitive exchange program, aimed at transferring, sharing and exchanging experiences and practices with various governments of the world, and in the framework of the program’s direction to expand Emirati partnerships with the Caribbean countries.

The partnership agreement was signed by His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, and His Excellency Luis Madeira Suwaid, Deputy Minister of Presidency in the government of the Dominican Republic.

Abdullah Lootah emphasized that the Dominican joining the cognitive exchange program reflects the growing global confidence in the UAE model in modernizing government work, and establishes its position and leadership as an active global partner in designing future governments, pointing to the UAE’s keenness to enhance and expand the horizons of cooperation with the countries of the Caribbean region in various fields, including knowledge exchange and government development.

He said that the UAE government cognitive exchange program represents a joint international platform for transferring knowledge in the areas of governance, government innovation and capacity building, its goal of contributing to the positive impact in the performance of governments and the life of society, and enabling countries to develop government work models capable of keeping pace with developments and anticipating challenges, and ready for the future.

For his part, His Excellency Luis Madeira Suwaid stressed the Dominican Republic to enhance cooperation with the UAE government in the areas of government modernization, which reflects positively on its future plans and strategies.

He said that the Dominican Republic has a clear vision determined by the “Meta 2036” path, which is a vision for the future of the country and government work, noting that in light of efforts to accelerate the achievement of this vision, the partnership with the UAE government through the government cognitive exchange program is the ideal engine to enhance these efforts, stressing that the UAE has proven that the transformation is possible within one generation, and that his country believes in its ability to achieve this as well.

The areas of cooperation covered by the agreement focus on exchanging experiences and experiences, and best practices in building future government capabilities, governance, and others, and the two sides will work to develop government work through exchanging knowledge and benefiting from experiences, evidence and development models in the fields of government administration.

It is noteworthy that the government cognitive exchange program represents a leading platform for international government cooperation launched by the UAE government in 2018, in a targeted initiative to enhance international partnerships by providing the opportunity for governments, to share experiences, experiences, success stories and exchange of knowledge, in a way that contributes to enabling governments and enhancing their capabilities and qualifying their leaders for future requirements, and the program has been able to build knowledge partnerships with the governments of 45 countries around the world, and 6 organizations Arab and international.

The program recently launched the digital platform for Emirati government cognitive exchange, with the aim of providing the best experiences and experiences, which were developed by the UAE government, and governments around the world, within one open platform, which receives government knowledge contributions, and provides them with all governments to generalize them to enable governments in various fields of work.
