Al Ain Municipality accomplishes 50% of the Funds Filter for rainwater drainage

Al Ain on June 16 / WAM / Al Ain City municipality has completed 50% of the works of the Funds Film Project to raise the efficiency of rainwater drainage networks, as part of the scope of Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Street in the Al -Tawiya area.
The project, which is expected to be completed next August, aims to address the problem of rainwater gathering in the Al -Tawiya area, especially in the school area, and improving its drainage process, which contributes to reducing pressure on drainage networks in residential neighborhoods and urban roads.
Engineer Musab Al -Kayumi, the project manager in the municipality of Al Ain City, said that it includes the implementation of a funds with a total length of 2.6 km, with a capacity of 20 cubic meters per second, and is one of the vital projects implemented by the municipality within its continuous efforts to enhance infrastructure and provide effective and sustainable solutions to the problem of rainwater pools, which contributes to protecting residential neighborhoods and improving the quality of residents of residents City.
He explained that the project is going according to the planned timetable, while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards in implementation, and that it will contribute directly to reducing pressure on the rainwater drainage network, especially during the abundant periods of precipitation.
It is worth noting that the fund phrases are concrete tunnels in the form of a box used to drain water, including rain water, especially in torrents.
