Abdullah bin Zayed and Kaya Callas are looking for developments in the region and ways to reduce escalation
Abu Dhabi, June 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed during a telephone conversation with His Excellency Kaya Calas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice -President of the European Commission, the rapid developments in the region, in the wake of the Israeli military targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the contact, His Highness dealt with the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to reduce escalation, avoid the expansion of the conflict, and work closely to consolidate security and peace at the regional and international levels.
His Highness also touched on the necessity of working to solve the current crisis through diplomatic means and dialogue, in a way that contributes to protecting the security and stability of the region.
