Sharjah Radio and Television Authority is looking to cooperate with Chinese media entities

Sharjah, June 19 / WAM / The Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, with a Chinese delegation visited today and included representatives of the Heinan International Media Center of the Heinan broadcasting, radio and television station, and the China Media Group in the Middle East, included ways to enhance media relations and expand areas of cooperation with major international media institutions.

His Excellency Salem Ali Al -Ghaithi, Director of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, Khaled Ahmed Al -Zarouni, Director of the News Center, Aisha Obaid Al -Zarif, Director of the Engineering Technology Sector, was attended by the visiting delegation, Wang Li, Deputy Director of Heinan broadcasting, Radio and Television Station, and Zangh Yoshin, Editor -in -Chief of the Regional Office of the China Media Group in the Middle East, and Mr. Lynn Theo, Director of the News Center at Heinan. For broadcasting, radio and television, along with a number of media professionals from Heinan Station.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the most prominent technical and professional developments that the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority witnessed in recent years, as it has 6 TV channels and 4 radio channels in addition to the mirrors platform, as well as recognized the authority’s facilities and infrastructure, including television and radio broadcasting studios, production and engineering departments and the news center.

The two sides discussed opportunities for future cooperation and the possibility of producing joint programs that broadcast in both countries, serve the aspirations of the Emirati and Chinese public, and build sustainable strategic partnerships that enhance the presence of the two institutions at the regional and international levels.

His Excellency Salem Ali Al -Ghaithi said that the visit comes within the framework of the authority’s keenness to expand its network of relations with the leading international media institutions, and the Chinese side’s interest in identifying the advanced media experience in Sharjah.

For his part, Wang Li expressed his admiration for the advanced infrastructure of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, stressing that there are foundations for enhancing cooperation between the two parties in a way that serves the developed relations between the two countries in the fields of Kafu.
