Performing an operation to replace the joint using automatic robot surgery at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Hospital in Al -Ahsa

In a medical achievement that is the first of its kind at the level of Al -Ahsa, thanks to God a medical team in the Operations Department of Prince Saud bin Gallawi Hospital – one of the components of Al -Ahsa healthy gathering – succeeded in performing an accurate operation to replace the joint using automatic robot surgery, which is a modern modern technology that contributes to raising the quality of surgical care provided to patients. Two mechanisms equipped with high -resolution cameras and tracking devices, allowing the surgical plan to be carried out according to accurate criteria that reduce the possibility of error and contribute to improving the final results of the operation.

The medical team supervising the operation explained that the use of this technique contributed to enhancing the accuracy of the surgical procedure, by targeting the position of the joint with extreme accuracy, which reflected positively on reducing the time of the operation, reducing blood loss, in addition to accelerating the recovery period, which enables the patient to restore the ability to move and the quality of life faster and safer compared to traditional methods.
