The circular also obligated government agencies with a set of procedures, including allowing work to work with the flexible working hours, provided that the employee’s working hours are not less than the official hours, in addition to organizing the shifts times in line with the needs of the various authorities and ensuring the continuity of services, and ensuring that there is sufficient number of employees in organizational units with direct contact with customers during the official hours on the days of the week.
The circular stressed the importance of measuring the productivity of distance employees through the approved electronic system to work in a distance in the Ajman government, with the need to introduce the tasks and responsibilities entrusted with the employee and follow up by the direct official. Government agencies must also provide the Human Resources Department with the data required to calculate productivity indicators and measure the efficiency of the initiative application.
