We reject Iranian attacks on neighboring countries

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdel Aty stressed the importance of stopping the expansion of conflict in the region, especially with neighboring countries
This came in a phone call by Minister Abdel Ati with the Iranian Foreign Minister, according to Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf on Wednesday.
During the call with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abdel Ati reiterated Egypt’s full condemnation and rejection of all Iranian attacks on the Arab Gulf states, Jordan and Iraq, as well as Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Abdel Ati also reiterated the need to work quickly to stop it and respect the principle of good neighborliness and the sovereignty of states, stressing the need to give priority to the diplomatic track and the language of dialogue as the only way to contain tension and spare the region the risk of sliding into a state of comprehensive chaos that threatens regional peace and security.
