Bahrain Marina announces the formation of its new board of directors

Bahrain Marina Development Company, the developer of the Bahrain Marina real estate and tourism project in the heart of the capital, Manama, has announced the formation of its new board of directors, and the election of Mr. Riyad Youssef Satter as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The new board of directors includes a group of distinguished Bahraini competencies, and they are alongside Mr. Riyad Sater: Mrs. Sahar Rashid Al -Mannai, Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Ghani Al -Sheikh, Mr. Muhammad Ali Al -Bastaki, Mr. Youssef Abdullah Taqi, and Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Kamal, within the framework of the company’s directions to enhance institutional governance and benefit from the national experiences to support the next stage of the project.

The company also announced the appointment of Eng. Hisham Al -Muayyad as the work of the CEO, in addition to his current duties as head of project development.

On this occasion, the elected chairman, Mr. Riad Youssef Sater, expressed his pride in the confidence of the members of the Council, saying:

“I am honored to take over the chairmanship of Bahrain Marina Development Company in this articulated stage of the project that carries great ambitions for the future of real estate and tourism development in the Kingdom. We are committed to continuing to work to achieve the company’s vision in developing a distinct Bahraini destination that reflects the spirit of innovation and urban diversity, and enhances the position of the capital, Manama, as a first option for housing, investment and hospitality.”

Riad Satter added: “In the next stage, we look forward to building what has been achieved, and continuing to achieve according to the highest quality and sustainability standards, in a way that benefits society and investors alike.”

For his part, Eng. Hisham Al -Moayad, Acting CEO of Bahrain Marina Development Company, expressed his aspiration to lead the next stage of the project, saying: “I cherish the confidence of the board Quality and sustainability standards, reflecting Bahrain’s aspirations to attract quality investments and provide exceptional living experiences.

The new board of directors also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the former Chairman of the Board, Mr. Khaled Najibi, to the Managing Director, Mr. Youssef Al -Thawadi, and to all the former members of the Board of Directors, for their witnesses to support the stages of establishment and launch, and contribute to the consolidation of the foundations of the project and put it on a clear and constant executive path.

The “Bahrain Marina” project is one of the major development projects in the Kingdom, and it extends over an area of more than 250 thousand square meters on the eastern waterfront of the capital, Manama, and it contains luxurious housing units for free ownership, hotel, commercial, entertainment and sports facilities, in addition to a yacht marina and a sea club, which makes it an integrated destination that reflects Bahrain’s aspirations towards urban and sustainable development.
