The “Health Inclusion Index” is an international evaluation tool that compares the performance of 40 countries through 58 sub -indicators in the fields of health culture, awareness, inclusion, and justice. The results showed that the UAE tops the list of the best performance countries, which reflects its global leadership in the field of preventive and comprehensive health care.
The UAE ranked second in the world in the application of the comprehensive health system, and was among the five best health care countries centered around individuals. It also came in the tenth position globally in healthy culture, which witnessed a 30% increase during the past three years, as a result of awareness efforts, improving access, and strengthening partnerships between sectors.

The report revealed that reducing the weakness of health culture by 25% can save $ 2.3 billion annually worldwide, while twice healthy culture leads to an increased individual’s health costs at a rate of 2.8 times.
The report pointed out that improving the culture of oral health can save 572 million dollars of tooth decay costs over the course of life, while the loss of more than 8.2 million working hours annually due to dental decay leads to productivity losses of more than 175 million dollars.
Also, the treatment of anemia in women in childbearing age may save about $ 336 million annually of health care costs, while improving gum disease management is expected to reduce the costs of type 2 diabetes by more than 809 million dollars in a decade. His Excellency Dr. Amna Al -Hajri confirmed the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center to enhance the preventive approach in building comprehensive health systems, noting that awareness and community cooperation are basic pillars to achieve a healthy and sustainable future.
For his part, Bradley Jones, Executive Director of the Joint Secretariat of the UAE Business Council, praised the role of bilateral partnerships in supporting the development of comprehensive health systems and turning data into policies that serve societies. Arda Arat, General Manager of Halion, stressed that the index is not just a measurement tool, but rather an invitation to work to remove barriers in front of daily health, praising the UAE’s leadership in promoting sponsorship around individuals and achieving a higher quality of life.

The launch of the index is a first step within multi -stage efforts to integrate the concepts of inclusion and health culture in health care and living experiences in the region.
