A workshop to enable manufacturing companies in Dubai to expand globally and enhance their exports

The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, in cooperation with Dubai Industrial City, organized an educational workshop aimed at enabling manufacturing companies to continue implementing their expansion plans at the global level, enhancing their exports, and adopting the latest technological innovations and sustainable energy solutions.
She participated in the workshop, which comes within the framework of the series of “Dubai Industrial City Dialogues”, a group of the most prominent leaders of the sector and stakeholders in the Dubai Industrial City community, confirming the support of this pioneering industrial destination for the Dubai Economic Agenda targets D33, which revolves around priorities that include enhancing export growth, improving productivity and competitiveness of the manufacturing sector and attracting global companies to Dubai.
Dubai Industrial City, which is one of the 10 specialized business complexes of the “Tikom Group”, has been playing for more than 20 years, a pivotal role within the manufacturing sector in Dubai and the UAE.
The Executive Deputy of the President of the Tikom Group – the industrial sector, Saud Abu Al -Shawarb, affirmed that the wise leadership in Dubai and the UAE established a strong and strong pillars of the national industrial sector, pointing to the pivotal role that Dubai Industrial City plays in enhancing constructive cooperation between the public and private sectors to enhance and support economic diversification efforts.
He said: «Our growing society from the leading global and regional manufacturing companies succeeds in continuing to attract foreign direct investments to Dubai and the UAE, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of a mark (made in the Emirates) and enabling it to reach all parts of the world.
He continued: «We confirm in Dubai Industrial City our firm commitment to continuing to enable companies to employ their capabilities to contribute to achieving the targets (project 300 billion), and the initiative (manufactured in the Emirates) and Dubai Economic Agency D33.
The workshop’s agenda included educational sessions on the Dubai Export Support Program, and an energy -friendly initiative, as well as discussing the paths of strengthening national value and supporting the fourth industrial revolution.
It is noteworthy that the “Tikom Group” launched Dubai Industrial City in 2004, to contribute through its strategic location to drawing the future of manufacturing and logistical services in the region. Dubai Industrial includes more than 1,100 customers from the most prominent global and regional industrialization companies and more than 350 income factories.
