“Dubai Financial” earns 40.8 billion dirhams in a week

The Dubai Financial Market continued its gains for the fourth week in a row, at the end of the weekly transactions, yesterday, up 4.08%, to close at 6093.76 points, leading the gains of Gulf stock exchanges within a week. The market capital of shares listed in the Dubai Financial Market rose to about 1.055 trillion dirhams at the end of yesterday’s session, compared to 1.014 trillion dirhams at the end of the previous week’s trading, with gains of 40.86 billion dirhams.

The Dubai Financial Market increases, the strong performance of the banks and real estate sectors, in addition to the optimism of investors about strong business results for the companies listed in the first half of this year.

The banking sector increased by 6.94%during the week, and the real estate sector rose by 4.51%, while the industry sector grew by 2.55%.

The “ISIS” shares during the week’s trading jumped by 47.06%, topping the list of the highest shares, and the “symbol Corporation” shares rose by about 24%, and the arrow of the “Etadian Holding” company grew by 13.16%.

The shares of “Al -Mashreq Bank” also increased by 10.4%, “Emirates NBD” by 10.3%, “Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance” by about 8.15%, and “Dubai Commercial” 6.9%.

In the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, the general index ended the week’s transactions, up 1.96%, to close at 10261.69 points, continuing its gains for the fourth week in a row.

The market capital of the Abu Dhabi Market, from 3.099 trillion dirhams at the end of the session on Friday, rose to about 3.136 trillion dirhams at the end of yesterday’s session, with gains of 36.93 billion dirhams.

On the level of shares the highest in the Abu Dhabi Market within a week, the shares of “Sharjah Bank” topped the companies list of about 16.83%, “A7 Group” by 16.24%, “Umm Al Quwain for Public Investments” 10.99%, and “Cities Holding” by 8.99%.
