The UAE participates in a national wing at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Turkey

Abu Dhabi, July 20 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates participates in an integrated national wing in the seventeenth session of the International Defense Industry Exhibition (IDEF 2025), which is hosted by Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey during the period from 22 to 27 July 2025.
This participation comes to embody the sovereign vision of the state in building an advanced national defensive sector, led by industrial empowerment institutions with experience and specialization.
The Balance Council for Defense Empowerment “balance” is directly supervising the organization of the national wing, in line with its pivotal role in supporting and empowering national industries and enhancing their competitiveness on the global scene.
The pavilion includes a group of the most prominent national companies operating in the defense and technology sector, among them the “Edge” group, “Caldds”, and the company “Capital Events”, which reviews through its participation in the ongoing preparations for organizing the “IDEX” and “Navorx” 2027 exhibitions.
TIP also participates in a pivotal role in this event, as it highlights its strategic expansion plan aimed at developing an advanced and stimulating industrial environment, and reviewing its capabilities as a national platform to attract defense industrial investments, and attracting international companies specialized in high -tech manufacturing, in order to enhance the position of the UAE as a leading industrial center at the region level.
“Our participation in the IDEF 2025 exhibition comes as an extension of our strategy in building strategic industrial partnerships, and enhancing bridges of cooperation with major regional and international defense markets, stressing that Turkey is an important partner in the joint endeavor towards innovation and the development of modern and effective defense systems.
He added that the balance of defense empowerment is continuing with the support of the wise leadership its efforts in supporting and empowering national defense industries, and enhancing its global competitiveness, by opening up to the latest technologies, expanding the partnership network, and investing in qualified national competencies.
Al -Rumaithi pointed out that this participation falls within the framework of the strategic plan 2025-2028 recently launched by the Council, aimed at developing an integrated defensive industrial system based on industrial empowerment, adopting advanced technology, attracting and developing national talents, as well as deepening international cooperation, in a way that supports economic diversity and enhances the state’s position as a global center for defense and security industries.
The participation of the national pavilion of the UAE in this prominent international event, which is classified as the fourth largest defensive exhibition in the world in terms of the number of exhibitors, is the ambition of the state in consolidating its pioneering position in the fields of defense innovation, sovereign technology, and the economy based on knowledge and sustainability.
